A friendly neighborhood motorist in a Spider-Man suit jumped from their vehicle to help a wheelchair user who was struggling to cross an Arkansas street on July 21.
Footage taken by a traffic camera run by the Jonesboro Police Department shows the person in the wheelchair moving slowly through a crosswalk at a busy intersection.
After a few seconds, a man in a Spider-Man suit jumped out of his car and ran over to push the person’s wheelchair through the crosswalk to the other side of the street. As soon as they make it out of the frame, the cars that were stopped at the intersection start moving again.
The Jonesboro Police Department posted the video and wrote: “Earlier today, a citizen needing a little assistance got it in the form of a true superhero. We were able to spot this little web of kindness on our intersection cameras. Thank you, sir, for helping this gentleman reach his destination safely. Whether it’s a red light or green light, there is always time to do what’s right!”
In a comment on the Facebook post, the manager of a local trampoline park said the costumed do-gooder was one of their employees, dressed up for a superhero event for toddlers that day.
