Geese and Their ‘Little Ones’ Take Over Major Road in Downtown Vancouver

A great big gaggle of Canada geese was captured on camera taking advantage of a lull in traffic to march across a major thoroughfare in downtown Vancouver.

The traffic camera footage was released by the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Transit on May 10 – Mother’s Day – and shows “mom and her little ones crossing Georgia St this morning” as the birds headed to Stanley Park.

The ministry wrote that the video was “a good reminder to watch for wildlife, even in major city centres.”
