Adorable Coyote Rescued From Canal Completes Rehab and Joins Other Coyotes

A young coyote pulled from a canal in Cape Coral, Florida, has moved into the next stage of rehab after several weeks of treatment.

In an Instagram update, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, known as CROW, said the animal had recovered enough to leave the clinic.

“After a few weeks of care and treatment at CROW, the coyote is now healthy and stable enough to be transferred to the South Florida Wildlife Center to be with other coyotes,” CROW wrote. “At this age, socialization with other coyotes is crucial for his continued development.”

CROW also thanked the local fire department for rescuing the animal and “for giving this pup a second chance.”
