Some siblings compete. For LaTonya and LaToya Harris, they kept tying for the top spot.
The twins from Texas graduated first and second in their high school class in 2010, earning valedictorian and salutatorian honors. Years later, they repeated that result during their doctoral studies while completing advanced degrees in nutrition and chiropractic medicine.
Their 2010 high school results placed them as the top two students in their cohort.
They went on to study sports management at the University of Texas at Austin. They also lived in the same dorm and completed their bachelor’s and master’s programs side by side.
After college, they pursued chiropractic medicine after following advice from a mentor. They enrolled at Parker University and stayed on the same academic track, supporting each other through the program.
“Your best friend gets to come to work with you every day. We are more efficient because we already know what each other is thinking. We can just look at each other and know what needs to be said or done next. We make one another so much better,” the sisters told Because of Them We Can.
In 2021, they opened a chiropractic clinic in Dallas called The BluePrint, where they continue to work together.
