Astronaut’s Pet Explodes With Joy as Owner Returns From Moon Mission

NASA astronaut Christina Koch received a very warm welcome from her pet dog Sadie as she arrived home after completing the Artemis II mission around the Moon aboard NASA’s Orion spacecraft.

The astronaut posted a video on Instagram showing the moment Sadie was overcome by excitement upon seeing Koch in the doorway of their home.

“I’m still pretty sure I was the happier side of this reunion,” Koch wrote in the post. “Sadie taught me everything I needed to know about being an emotional support animal. Didn’t expect that would come in handy.”
